Then I converted all that into a wearable longblazer and added some boldness with a low neckline-collar-combo. Confessing that creating this dress from the first sketch to the last seam all on my own gave me new confidence, isn’t that paradoxical. Of course I’ve felt a certain pride before, whenever I had sewn a piece, but a bit more than a year ago I was still taking sewing lessons and my teacher helped me at least with the patterns. That’s just incommensurable.
